Temu Returns, Refunds, and Price Adjustments Philippines
About this guide
The SulitScan editorial team prepares buyer guides using desk-researched product information, primary guidance where available, and practical pre-purchase checks. We do not claim hands-on testing unless an article explicitly says a product was tested.

A lower price after checkout, an unwanted item, and an item that arrives damaged are three different Temu situations. Choosing the wrong route can waste time or create a return you did not need.
This Philippine workflow separates a return, a refund claim, and an eligible price adjustment. It uses dated policy information and repeatedly points back to the live order because item-level terms can differ.
How we assessed this guide
We reviewed Temu Philippines' Return and Refund Policy, which states that the policy was updated 2026-03-23. We also reviewed Temu's current explanation of price adjustment and its support route.
The policy describes general windows and exclusions, but the exact order, seller, product, variation, reason, and generated return method control a real case. We did not place or return an order, inspect a product, or measure processing time. This guide does not promise eligibility, a full refund, free shipping, or a deadline beyond what your live order shows.
Choose the right route first
Use a return or refund request when the product itself is unwanted, wrong, damaged, defective, incomplete, not as described, or otherwise covered by the available order reasons. Temu may require the item back before assessing the refund.
Use price adjustment only when the product is still acceptable and the live order presents an eligible lower-price route. It is not a substitute for reporting damage, a missing part, or the wrong variation.
Use official support when the expected control is missing, instructions conflict, or the order presents an issue not covered by the available reason. Keep the discussion connected to the order number and do not move payment, fees, or account access into an unofficial channel.
Check whether the item is returnable
Under the policy updated 2026-03-23, most returnable items have a window of up to 90 days from purchase. That is not a promise that every item has a 90-day return. Most electronics use seller-specific 45-, 60-, or 90-day windows, and the product page or order may show a different applicable period.
The policy's exclusions use category-specific wording, so preserve its qualifiers instead of treating every condition as a universal rule:
- The clothing-specific exclusion covers clothing that has been worn, washed, or damaged after delivery, or that has had tags or hygiene stickers removed.
- Grocery and food products are listed as non-returnable.
- The policy lists some health and personal-care items, some free gifts, some customized products, and some underwear orders rather than declaring every item in those categories non-returnable.
- Sellers may mark certain items as not eligible for return, subject to Temu's policy. Check the product detail page and live order.
Those returnability exclusions are different from Temu's separate quality-inspection and reduced-refund rule. An item that arrived damaged should be reported truthfully and documented before use; that is different from buyer-caused damage after delivery. For an otherwise returnable item, the policy says a refund may be reduced when the returned item is used or damaged, is missing parts or accessories, or is damaged by improper return packaging, when that loss is not due to Temu or the seller. Preserve arrival evidence so Temu- or seller-caused damage is not confused with later condition loss.
Before opening, assembling, installing, washing, or using a return-sensitive item, check its live policy. Preserve labels, hygiene seals, accessories, manuals, packaging, and included gifts until you are satisfied it is correct.
Build the return or refund record
Open Your Orders, choose the exact order and item, and record the available reason, deadline, remedy, and return instruction. Save the listing and variation so you can show what you selected.
Collect evidence that matches the issue:
- Order page, item title, seller, variation, quantity, and paid total
- Listing description and photos relevant to the mismatch
- Outer and inner packaging plus delivery label
- Wide and close photos of damage, wrong item, or missing parts
- Model, size, color, serial reference, seal, or batch where relevant
- A short video when motion, sound, leakage, or an opening sequence matters
- Support messages, case confirmation, return label, receipt, and tracking
The unboxing evidence guide gives a privacy-aware recording sequence. Evidence should show the issue, not merely produce a large file. Do not share passwords, one-time codes, full payment details, or unnecessary identity documents.
Follow the generated return instruction
Current policy says the first return of one or more returnable items from an order is free within the applicable window. A subsequent return from the same order currently deducts a PHP 75 shipping fee. These are dated terms, not a permanent promise, so group eligible items into the first return only when you have checked all items and doing so will not cause you to miss a deadline.
After submitting a return, the current policy requires the package to be postmarked within 14 days. The live instruction controls. Use the generated method and address rather than a courier name or route copied from a foreign guide.
Photograph the item and included parts before packing, then photograph the sealed package and readable return label. Keep the receipt and tracking. Improper packaging can reduce value or create transit damage, so follow the item-specific instructions and protect the product appropriately.
Understand refund assessment
A submitted request is not the same as an approved full refund. This inspection rule is separate from the item-category exclusions above. Current policy allows receipt and quality inspection before the final refund and says the amount may be reduced when a returned item is used or damaged, has missing parts or accessories, or was damaged through improper return packaging, when the issue was not due to Temu or the seller.
If the item arrived wrong or damaged, record that condition before using it and choose the matching truthful reason. If damage occurred through buyer use or return packing, do not describe it as delivered damage. The policy distinguishes cause; SulitScan cannot decide how the platform will assess the evidence or final amount.
Use the payment or refund method offered in the live case and read the current estimate there. Bank, card, wallet, and platform-credit timing can differ, and SulitScan cannot verify or accelerate it. Keep the order, case, return receipt, and refund confirmation until the payment record matches the resolved amount.
For a product fault that may also involve a seller or manufacturer promise, the online purchase warranty guide helps you separate the short return route from longer warranty coverage.
Check 30-day price adjustment eligibility
Temu's current help page describes a conditional 30-day price adjustment after payment. The comparison generally needs the same item, same variation, same seller, and same region. Promotional or unavailable products may be excluded, and shipping fees are not part of the adjustment.
Open Your Orders, choose the eligible order, and look for Price adjustment. If that control is present, review the items and amount shown before submitting. Do not compare a different color, bundle, seller, region, coupon combination, or shipping charge and assume it qualifies.
A lower advertised price does not guarantee an adjustment. Save the order result, but avoid repeatedly cancelling and reordering without checking stock, payment reversal, voucher loss, shipping, and return consequences.
Worked remedy decision
Consider three invented situations. The live order still decides each result.
- The exact lamp variation is intact and acceptable, but the same item from the same seller and region now shows a lower eligible price 12 days after payment. Look for Price adjustment in Your Orders; do not create a damage return.
- A storage set arrived in the wrong size and the order shows Return/Refund. Photograph the listing variation, received dimensions, labels, and packaging, then use the matching reason and follow any generated return instruction.
- A shirt arrives with a tear before it has been worn or washed. Photograph the delivered condition, packaging, tags, and hygiene sticker, then choose the matching damage reason. Do not confuse that arrival issue with clothing damaged after delivery through buyer use.
- An electronic item stopped working, but its order shows a seller-specific return window rather than the general 90-day period. Stop unsafe use, preserve evidence, follow that displayed window, and check warranty terms if the return route is unavailable.
- Two returnable items from one order have different problems. Check both promptly and, when the live instructions allow, include both in the first submitted return to avoid a later same-order fee without sacrificing either deadline.
- The package has been accepted for return. Keep the postmark, tracking, and item-condition photos until inspection and the final refund record are complete.
This decision sequence keeps a price change separate from a product problem and prevents the broadest policy headline from replacing item-level terms.
Temu remedy checklist
- Identify whether the issue is a lower price, unwanted item, wrong item, damage, fault, or missing part.
- Open the exact order and capture its available control and deadline.
- Check item-specific returnability, the clothing-specific exclusion, every “some” category qualifier, and the electronics window.
- Preserve the listing, variation, packaging, labels, accessories, and evidence showing whether damage was present on arrival.
- Keep returnability separate from the later quality inspection and possible reduced-refund assessment.
- Use Price adjustment only when the live order shows an eligible match.
- Use Return/Refund for the truthful item issue and requested remedy.
- Follow the generated method and ensure a submitted return is postmarked within the live cutoff.
- Package the item carefully, photograph it, and keep the return receipt and tracking.
- Monitor inspection and compare the final refund with the payment record.
- Keep every confirmation until the case is resolved.

Frequently asked questions
Does every Temu item have a 90-day free return?
No. Most returnable items use a period up to 90 days under the dated policy, but exclusions apply and most electronics use seller-specific 45-, 60-, or 90-day windows. The live item and order terms control.
When does Temu charge the PHP 75 return-shipping fee?
Under the policy reviewed here, the first return of returnable items from an order is free within the applicable window, while a subsequent return from the same order deducts PHP 75. Recheck the live policy before acting.
What qualifies for a Temu price adjustment?
The current route is conditional and generally requires the same item, variation, seller, and region within 30 days after payment. Promotional or unavailable products may be excluded, shipping is excluded, and the live Price adjustment control decides eligibility.
What Temu return exclusions should I check?
The policy has a clothing-specific exclusion for clothing worn, washed, damaged after delivery, or missing tags or hygiene stickers; excludes grocery and food; and lists some health and personal-care, free-gift, customized, and underwear categories. Seller-marked exclusions may also apply. The live product and order terms control.
